Ways to Create More Emotional Freedom: Part 2

Welcome back to part 2 of our Emotional Freedom perspectives! Did you answer the Part 1 questions and do some self-reflection or journaling? What has shifted for you?

Let’s continue to build off the first questions!

  1.   How emotionally mature are you?
  2.   Do you ever use the 'silent treatment’ to manipulate or guilt someone into your viewpoint?
  3.   Do you intentionally withhold love from a spouse, grandparent, parent, child, or sibling when you don’t get your way or disagree with them?
  4.   Do you make people, including yourself, “earn” love from others?
  5.   Do you hold grudges or harbor resentments and past hurtful situations?
  6.   Do you live more in the past than the future?
  7.   How fully “present” are you here and now, in the present?
  8.   How many hours per day and week are you working?
  9.   When was the last time you took an actual, non-working vacation longer than a day or two?
  10.   How often do you look at your phone, tablet, computers and social media? Do you see how it is affecting your emotions?
  11.   What kind of tv shows, programs, etc do you enjoy watching? Do they make you happy, calm, and relaxed, or are they full of violence, anger, unnecessary drama, or politics that stress you out?
  12.   What form of emotional stress release do you practice regularly, such as meditating, prayer, journaling, tapping, energy work, talking with a friend or counselor, etc?
  13.   Do you tell the truth about your emotions? I’m happy, I’m angry, etc
  14.   Do you have people and situations where true narcissists are present? (not just someone who has a different opinion than yours)
  15.   Do you keep seeing a certain emotional pattern show up in your life consistently?
  16.   How mature are your communication skills?
  17.   Are you able to have “hard” conversations with your loved ones? Your employees or teammates? Your boss or church?
  18.   Have you ever studied how emotions work?
  19.   Did you know that suppressed and trapped emotions very often are the underlying cause of chronic health conditions?
